Since AI went mainstream, we've been cautious about adopting it in our apps for two main reasons: a) we didn't want to use AI just for the sake of it, and b) the tech wasn't yet strong enough to deliver the quality our merchants expect. That's finally changed, and today we're launching v17.2.0 with a closed beta of AI image generation that you can use directly in your feeds or anywhere across your Shopify store.
